What it does
Most questions about a place need more than a pin on a map: how deprived the area is, how many people live there, and which other areas it is genuinely comparable to.
GeoCode answers those questions consistently across our estate. It is what allows UK Crime Statistics to benchmark a neighbourhood against similar places rather than against raw counts, and it is refreshed on a monthly cycle. The same foundation is available to partner projects.
